 Eric Larson
The Eric Larson Music Endowment - the University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc has been established by the Larson Family and the New Mexico Music Awards to assist those UNM Junior and Senior students who have declared Music or a related field as their major. The scholarship will be available to any student who maintains a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
The University of New Mexico Foundation, Inc. will manage the endowment. Each year, after the endowment is financially established, a five-person board consisting of at least one NMMIA member and one Larson family member will meet to choose from the applicants and will award the scholarship at the NMMIA Awards banquet, held annually in May. Other music and community leaders will make up the remainder of the board.
The NMMA will continue to solicit funding for the scholarship and will contribute annually to the endowment. Anyone who wishes to contribute to the endowment may do so by clicking on this link: https://unm.securesites.net/give-online/fdn/
